Telehealth Consulting
In an effort to provide the highest level of veterinary care for all our clients and patients, Premier Equine has implemented telemedicine services. Telemedicine refers to the practice of caring for patients remotely when the provider and patient are not physically present with each other. This advancement allows veterinarians and trained veterinary technicians to conduct ‘virtual visits' with patients while following best practices.
Examples when virtual visits may be necessary can include medication questions, triage non-emergent cases, rechecks or general questions regarding your horse.
If it is determined that your horse needs to be seen in person within 24hrs following the consult, the telehealth fee will be waived. All clients wishing to use Premier Equine Telehealth services need to bave a current veterinary-client-patient-relationship (VCPR). For more information regarding a VCPR please click the link below.
